Here's another place to check for 'http://foxlakefishing.com/forum/index.php?board=8.0'>fishing reports.

We're happy to share our knowledge of what's hiting where with the members of this forum.

Maybe we can pool our resources.

We also have a secret fishing hole board for registered members.

Hit the water about 6am launched at BB's with water half way into the parking lot. If your going out boots will help. Water temps 74 in most spots.

Headed to the channels and current breaks to see what we could find. Started out with my partner for the day getting the first Walleye of the day. Soon after we boated a cat. Worked our butts off after that topick up a few more fish. Boated some smallies, LG mouths, Strippers, a few more Wallyes and cats.

Had to work to get the fish we did and, they didn't come easy. Saw teams of carp hunters who had a tourny going on. They looked more like Rambo invaded the lakes.

Ran into Nick and company coming out of Channle lake trolling over to Marie, looking for some skis. We fished Channle for awhile in hopes to raise the beast but no luck at all, Tryed cranks, bucktails, and even some top water and didn't even see one.

I hope the rain holds out all around so that the folks on the water get a chance to get their homes back. 3 floods in a year is a lot for them to deal with. Saw some flaming @ss flying across Marie like everything was fine. Those folks don't need any extra wave action right now so Please remember it is NO WAKE.

Made it out to the chain for a few hours Saturday morning. Caught several bass (largest was about 2.75 lbs.) - several shorts, and a walleye just before the bridge up in Channel. Didn't expect to see that there. Water temp was 61, with some fluctuation to 62 in areas like horseshoe. Most fish were caught on silver / black rattle traps. Also caught a couple flipping a red / black Beaver.

Some fish were ';off'; wood - meaning not holding tight but cruising it in the back waters - you could coax a bite, but they were fairly easy to spook.

Saw a few fish on beds, but not nearly what I would expect for this time of year. These fish were generally smaller males (did see a 3+ on / near a bed, but she ran like hell on my approach.

Boy was it cold out :| . Winds were really kick some butt. Water temps mid 50's. Over all 80 boats entered I think, 13 skis caught, biggest 45+.

Son in-law Dave caught a 36in. good enough for 6 place tie. You would think he would share some cash.

FRV puts on a great event year after year, thanks for all your hard work guys.

TT had some good food again.
