Anyone know of any public beaches on the Chain?
I am looking to have a family reunion and need picnic grounds and beach for swimming in late July early August
for about 40-50 people.
No Public beaches to my knowledge. Turtle Beach resort on Channel Lake has a nice beach and facility but they will charge per car. The Chain State Park is a great place for group get togethers but has no beach.
If a beach is a must, you may want to check out Illinois Beach State Park in Zion.
